Journal of Marine Life Science (JMLS) provides a platform that introduces new discoveries and theories associated with marine and aquatic organisms, bioresources, and biotechnology. It has an international authorship and a broad scope in the following topics: Basic Biology, Fisheries Science, Marine Drugs and Bioproducts, Food Science, Ecology, Aquatic Environmental Biology and Biological Oceanography.

Journal of Marine Life Science (JMLS) accepts submissions of the following article types:
Original Research : Original Research articles report on primary and unpublished studies. Original Research may also encompass confirming studies and disconfirming results which allow hypothesis elimination, reformulation and/or report on the non-reproducibility of previously published results. Original Research articles are peer-reviewed, should have the following format: 1) Abstract, 2) Introduction, 3) Materials and Methods, 4) Results, 5) Discussion.
Review : Review articles cover topics that have seen significant development or progress in recent years, with comprehensive depth and a balanced perspective. Review articles have the following format: 1) Abstract, 2) Introduction, 3) Subsections relevant for the subject, 4) Discussion. Review articles are peer-reviewed.
Note : Notes briefly and concisely describe sound research data with the aim of increasing visibility and transparency, supporting the reuse of valuable research data. Review articles are peer-reviewed.
Methods : Methods articles present either a new or established method, protocol, or technique that is of significant interest in the field. Methods articles are peer-reviewed. Any analytical methods applied to the data generated by the protocol must be referenced or described. Results must be replicable.
Publication charge
When the publication of the manuscript is issued, the authors will be charged for the publication. The amount of publication charge is 200,000 Korean won/publication (8 pages). A fee of 20,000 Korean won will be charged for each additional page of publication.
